The Youth Advocates for Health (YA4-H!) program equips and empowers teens, researchers, and advocates to address critical health-related concerns. The Building Successful Youth-Adult Partnerships curriculum is one component of the YA4-H! program.
This curriculum is designed to equip youth & adults to:
• Work together to facilitate a YA4-H! program at the local level.
• Boost youth ease in navigating adult situations and contexts.
• Enhance youths’ ability to understand power differences and work effectively through them.
• Deepen teens’ commitment to personal and community Health.
It is critically important that the trainings are conducted with an appropriate balance of youth and adult participants. The total time required to complete the entire curriculum is approximately 12 hours, including breaks. The curriculum is designed to be adapted for half-day, full-day, or weekend retreat training sessions. Activities may also be incorporated singly or in small batches. 99 pages.
